Thousands prepare for Boston Marathon®

WHO:
Meet the 26 "Little Heroes" of the Jimmy Fund Clinic whose pictures are used to mark each mile of the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk. The children, their families, and teams of walkers will carbo-load at the Stop & Shop Pasta Party, play games and make crafts.
WHAT:
Pasta Dinner for participants of the 14th annual Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk.
WHERE:
Wellesley High School cafeteria, Rice Street, Wellesley.
WHEN:
Saturday, Sept. 28th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk
WHO:
More than 8,500 people will walk the Boston Marathon route from Hopkinton to Boston as they walk in honor, or in memory, of loved ones affected by cancer.
WHAT:
The 14th annual Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Walkers expect to raise more than $4.5 million for cancer care and research.
WHERE:
Hopkinton Center; Wellesley High School, Rice St., Wellesley; Harvard Medical School Quad, 200 Longwood Ave. All along the Boston Marathon route from Hopkinton to Boston, through Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, and Brookline.
WHEN:
Sunday, Sept. 29th, 7 a.m. Hopkinton start; 11 a.m. Wellesley start, Patient/Family Walk starts at 2 p.m. at Harvard Medical School.
