From donning a Santa hat during his December 2005 visit to serving as the 2007 Rally Against Cancer Honorary Spokesman, first baseman Kevin Youkilis is a hit with Jimmy Fund Clinic patients.
In 2007, Youkilis visited the two top fundraising teams to congratulate them and sign autographs. "The outpouring of support from all of Red Sox Nation is truly impressive," says Kevin Youkilis, 2007 Rally Against Cancer honorary spokesman. "Schools and companies, both large and small, proved that a small donation from everyone goes a long way to help the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute conquer cancer."
